June 15, 1985: Reds (30-30) at Braves (21-37)

In a lop-sided win the Cincinnati Reds ripped the struggling Atlanta Braves by a 10 to 4 count.

Cincinnati claimed the early lead in the first inning when they tallied 5 runs on 4 hits. That early run support was all that Jay Tibbs(5-6) required. Cincinnati finished with 11 hits in the victory.

Ron Robinson was credited with his 1st save. The losing pitcher was Rick Mahler(5-7). He was unable to control the Cincinnati offense and allowed 7 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.
