June 20, 1985: A's (26-39) at White Sox (28-34)

In a good matchup it was the Chicago White Sox 6, the Oakland Athletics 4 at COMISKEY PARK.

Chicago came up with all the runs they needed in the 1st inning scoring 6 runners on 4 hits. That early scoring held up. Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.

Britt Burns(5-8) went 8 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Burns got relief help from Bob James who gained credit for his 13th save. Tommy John(0-3) was tagged with the loss.
