June 20, 1985: Pirates (25-38) at Expos (31-35)

36,701 fans were treated to a fine game at OLYMPIC STADIUM as only one run separated the combatants at game's end. The Montreal Expos won by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3. 

The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Montreal won the game in the 10th inning. Herm Winningham lined a base-hit. Mike Fitzgerald stepped up next and he grounded into a double play. Doug Frobel then singled. Tim Raines came up and he doubled making Montreal the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Both teams ended up with 9 hits on the night. 

Jeff Reardon(2-0) went 2 innings allowing 1 run for the victory. Al Holland(0-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits and no walks.
