June 21, 1985: Angels (28-37) at White Sox (29-34)

Chicago White Sox won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over California Angels at COMISKEY PARK pulling it out in their last at bats, 7 to 6.

Chicago won the game with a run in the 9th inning. Carlton Fisk reached on an error. Ron Kittle followed and he ripped a base-hit. Jerry Hairston then laced a single giving Chicago the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Chicago finished with 11 hits while California ended up with 8.

Juan Agosto(1-0) went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. The losing pitcher was Pat Clements(1-1) in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as he did not allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
