The Chicago White Sox bested the Minnesota Twins by a 7 to 3 score at COMISKEY PARK. 

Tom Seaver(9-6) had a solid outing for Chicago. He allowed 11 hits and 1 walk in 7 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 2 'long-bombs'. Both teams ended up with 12 hits on the night. 

John Butcher(3-14) was charged with the loss. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 6 innings of work.
