June 30, 1985: Braves (22-51) at Dodgers (45-29)

In an entertaining game at DODGER STADIUM the final score was the Los Angeles Dodgers 6, the ice-cold Atlanta Braves 3. 

Los Angeles brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 6th inning. After an out was recorded, Bill Madlock opened up the rally as he drew a walk. Pedro Guerrero came next and he delivered a base-hit. Mike Marshall then drew a walk to load the bases. Mike Scioscia came up and he drew a walk scoring a run. After another out, Steve Sax stepped in and he reached on an error scoring the final run of the inning. Los Angeles totaled 7 hits on the afternoon. 

Fernando Valenzuela(8-5) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Valenzuela got relief help from Tom Niedenfuer who gained credit for his 13th save. Steve Bedrosian(2-12) was the loser.
