The California Angels got by the Toronto Blue Jays at ANAHEIM STADIUM. The final score was 7 to 5. 

California brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 6th inning when they had 3 base hits. The big moment was provided by Reggie Jackson who thrilled the crowd when he doubled bringing in two baserunners. California ended up with 11 hits for the game while Toronto had 7. 

The victory went to Kirk McCaskill(9-8) who went 8 innings, allowing 5 runs. Donnie Moore preserved the game for McCaskill, recording his his 16th save. Jimmy Key(11-6) suffered the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 7 runs in 5 innings.
