July 14, 1985: White Sox (42-43) at Orioles (41-45)

At MEMORIAL STADIUM the Chicago White Sox easily handled the Baltimore Orioles by the score of 7 to 3. 

Chicago went ahead for good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring a single run utilizing 2 base hits. Chicago finished with 7 hits in the victory. 

Gene Nelson(9-10) allowed 3 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the victory. Mike Boddicker(1-9) took the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 5 hits in 5 and 2/3 innings.
