July 19, 1985: A's (35-55) at Blue Jays (56-35)

In an exciting finish the Toronto Blue Jays pulled out a win over the Oakland Athletics by a score of 5 to 4 at EXHIBITION STADIUM. 

The game was decided in the 9th inning. Len Matuszek banged out a single. After an out was recorded, Lloyd Moseby came up and he slapped a single. Rance Mulliniks then ripped a single making Toronto the victors to the delight of the home town faithful. Toronto had 11 hits for the night while Oakland had 8. 

Tom Henke(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 inning. Steve Ontiveros(2-3) suffered the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 3 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.
