July 19, 1985: Royals (50-40) at Orioles (43-45)

Left fielder Mike Young launched 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the Baltimore Orioles topped the Kansas City Royals by a score of 12 to 5 at MEMORIAL STADIUM. 

Young made sure the Baltimore fans enjoyed themselves. He smashed a bases-empty homer in the 2nd inning, delivered a solo blast in the 4th inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Baltimore ended up with 16 hits for the game while Kansas City had 10. 

Storm Davis(10-5) went 6 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory. Tippy Martinez recorded the save, his 2nd. The loss was charged to Danny Jackson(6-7). He surrended 3 homeruns in his 3 and 1/3 innings.
