July 27, 1985: Reds (53-44) at Expos (45-53)

Nick Esasky had 4 hits and 3 RBI at OLYMPIC STADIUM where the Cincinnati Reds beat the Montreal Expos in 12 innings 4 to 3. 

Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. Cincinnati came out the victor in the 12th inning. After two outs Dave Parker ripped a single. Buddy Bell followed next and he tripled scoring the run. The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning. 

Ted Power(2-4) went 3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Gary Lucas(2-1) took the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and no walks in 1 inning.
