July 28, 1985: A's (38-61) at Brewers (40-57)

It was a laugher out at COUNTY STADIUM. The Milwaukee Brewers squad ripped Oakland pitching for a total of 11 runs. Danny Darwin(9-9), with relief help from Bob Gibson, held Oakland to 1 run. 

Darwin gave a fine effort for Milwaukee. He went 6 and 2/3 innings and surrended up 8 hits and 4 walks. Milwaukee finished with 12 hits while Oakland ended up with 9. 

Tim Birtsas(7-3) took the loss. He couldn't find the plate, issuing 8 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
