Gooden(15-2) was very good in the win. He didn't allow much, just 7 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. After the 3rd inning, neither team was able to score.
Nolan Ryan(10-12) was the loser. He was hit hard and gave up 11 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
