In the bottom of the 2nd inning Baltimore went on top for good scoring 2 runners on 2 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Gary Roenicke who brought the crowd to their feet when he cleared the fences for a two-run home run. Baltimore totaled 7 hits on the night. 

Mike Boddicker(2-10) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 8 innings. Don Aase preserved the game for Boddicker, recording his his 13th save. Jim Clancy(7-8) ended up with the loss. Baltimore knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 6 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. 

With this win, Baltimore has a 50-48 record. They have been 7-3 lately. With this loss, Toronto has a 6-4 record of late, 62-39 overall.
