July 29, 1985: Expos (46-54) at Mets (67-32)

Rafael Santana had 4 hits as the New York Mets defeated the Montreal Expos by a score of 4 to 2 at SHEA STADIUM. 

New York came up with 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning when they came up with 3 base hits. It was enough scoring to earn the victory. New York finished with 11 hits while Montreal ended up with 7. 

Ron Darling(13-8) allowed 2 runs in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. Darling got help from Roger McDowell who was credited with his 13th save. Bill Laskey(3-4) was given the loss.
