August 3, 1985: Expos (49-55) at Pirates (42-60)

Hubie Brooks hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the Montreal Expos defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates in 10 innings by the score of 6 to 3 at Forbes Field. 

Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings. Montreal came out the victor in the 10th inning. Tim Raines began things off when he cracked a solo homerun. Terry Francona followed next and he ripped a one-base hit. Andre Dawson then stroked a base-hit. Brooks was up next and he doubled adding another two runs to their total. Montreal managed 12 hits in their victory. 

The victory went to Jeff Reardon(4-1) who went 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing no runs. Larry McWilliams(6-9) was hit with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning allowing 4 hits and 1 walk. 

The Montreal ballclub's record now stands at 49-55. Pittsburgh has a record of 42-60 after the loss.
