August 4, 1985: Expos (50-55) at Pirates (42-61)

In a game at Forbes Field the Montreal Expos got by the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 6 to 3. 

Pittsburgh lost it in the 3rd inning when Montreal did all their damage when they scored 6 runs on 6 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Tim Wallach who quieted the home crowd when he smacked a single which was good for two runs. Both teams ended up with 11 hits on the afternoon. 

Randy St. Claire(1-1) went 4 inning allowing 3 runs for the win. Jim Winn(1-7) was given the loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 7 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings. Jeff Reardon pitched a perfect 9th for his 16th Save. 

The Montreal ballclub's record now stands at 50-55. Pittsburgh has a record of 42-61, worst in the division after the loss.
