July 30, 1985: Padres (56-45) at Braves (28-70)

It was a laugher out at FULTON CTY STADIUM. The San Diego Padres squad ripped Atlanta pitching for a total of 10 runs. Mark Thurmond(7-2), with relief help from Tim Stoddard, held Atlanta to 1 run. 

San Diego wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits. That was all the offense they were to need. San Diego finished with 10 hits in the victory. 

Steve Bedrosian(2-17) was hit with the loss. He gave up 8 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings of work.
