July 30, 1985: White Sox (49-48) at Red Sox (63-37)

Left fielder Rudy Law had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Chicago White Sox beat the Boston Red Sox by a score of 7 to 3. 

Law had a big evening at the plate. He ripped a base-knock in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd inning, cracked a solo homerun in the 7th inning and singled plating two runs in the 9th inning. Chicago had 9 hits for the night. 

The victory went to Floyd Bannister(11-8) who went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs. Al Nipper(5-9) took the loss. He pitched 7 innings and surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks.
