Doyle Alexander went the distance and Lloyd Moseby collected 2 extra-base hits and had 2 RBI at MEMORIAL STADIUM where the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Baltimore Orioles 6 to 2. 

Alexander(14-5) earned his pay with a solid performance for Toronto. He went 9 innings allowing 6 hits and 1 walk and was touched for 2 homeruns. Toronto managed 13 hits in their victory. 

Storm Davis(11-6) ended up with the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
