August 5, 1985: Expos (51-55) at Pirates (42-62)

In an entertaining game at Forbes Field the final score was the Montreal Expos 7, the Pittsburgh Pirates 4 in 11 innings. 

The score was tied at 4 after nine. Finally, Montreal pulled the game out in the 11th inning. Sal Butera led off and started the attack as he was hit by a pitch. After an out was recorded, Tim Raines came up and he ripped a base-hit. U.L. Washington then drew a walk to load the bases. Andre Dawson followed next and he laced a one-base hit knocking home two runners. Hubie Brooks came up to bat and reached on an error scoring the final run of the inning. For the game Montreal out-hit Pittsburgh 15 to 11. 

The winning pitcher was Jeff Reardon(5-1) who allowed 1 run in 2 innings. Bert Roberge recorded his 1st save. Rod Scurry(0-2) suffered the loss in relief. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 3 runs in 2 innings.
