August 10, 1985: Braves (35-74) at Giants (47-63)

Gerald Perry had 4 hits and 2 RBI at CANDLESTICK PARK where the Atlanta Braves beat the San Francisco Giants by the score of 5 to 2. 

Perry provided the offensive punch. He laced a single plating a run in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 5th inning, laced a base-knock in the 7th inning and blasted a solo shot in the 9th inning. Atlanta totaled 12 hits on the afternoon. 

The win went to Len Barker(5-13) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Barker got help from Bruce Sutter who was credited with his 13th save. The loss was charged to Mike Krukow(5-15).
