August 9, 1985: A's (43-67) at Mariners (54-56)

Phil Bradley touched them all and had 4 RBI and Bill Swift came through with a solid 8 innings at The Kingdome where the Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland Athletics in 13 innings by the score of 7 to 4. 

Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Seattle won it in the 13th inning. After an out was recorded, Domingo Ramos started the rally when he drew a walk. Donnie Scott next to the plate and he drew a walk. After another out, Bradley then belted a three-run homer giving Seattle the victory as 47,744 happy fans celebrated wildly. Oakland was out-hit by Seattle, 13 hits to 8. 

The win went to Edwin Nunez(3-1) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Tim Birtsas(7-5) took the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 2 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings.
