Rance Mulliniks hit a homerun and had 3 RBI at ROYALS STADIUM as the very talented Toronto Blue Jays beat the Kansas City Royals in 15 innings by the count of 7 to 4. 

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Toronto won it in the 15th inning. Garth Iorg led off the inning for Toronto when he stroked a one-base hit. After an out was recorded, Buck Martinez came up and he stroked a base-hit. Mulliniks then lofted a three-run homer. The teams had been locked in a scoreless duel until the 6th inning. 

The win went to Gary Lavelle(3-2) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Joe Beckwith(7-3) suffered the loss in relief. He pitched 4 and 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits and 1 walk.
