Dave Dravecky delivered 9 solid innings at JACK MURPHY STADIUM where the San Diego Padres beat the Cincinnati Reds 2 to 1. 

San Diego brought 2 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 4th inning with the help of 3 hits. They would be enough to earn the win. Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 4th inning with no runs scored after that point. 

Dravecky(12-8) was the winner allowing 1 run for the game. Mario Soto(16-9) suffered the loss. He surrendered 2 runs and 4 hits in 7 innings.
