August 13, 1985: Expos (53-61) at Cubs (57-56)

Hubie Brooks had 6 hits and 3 RBI as the Montreal Expos defeated the slumping Chicago Cubs in 11 innings 9 to 6 at WRIGLEY FIELD. 

Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Montreal ended up winning it in the 11th inning. Andre Dawson led off and keyed the rally when he ripped a single. Brooks stepped up to the plate and he delivered a one-base hit. Tim Wallach then stroked a base-hit which scored a run. Scot Thompson came up and he slapped a single scoring one more run. Herm Winningham stepped into the box and doubled scoring the final run of the inning. It was roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 5 times. 

Randy St. Claire(2-2) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. St. Claire was helped out by Jeff Reardon who recorded his 17th save. George Frazier(0-3) was charged with the loss in relief.
