August 14, 1985: Expos (54-61) at Cubs (57-57)

Jeff Reardon stopped Chicago cold at WRIGLEY FIELD as the Montreal Expos beat the struggling Chicago Cubs 3 to 2. 

Montreal scored the decisive runs in a big 8th inning scoring 2 runs utilizing 2 base hits. Jim Wohlford got things going when he ripped a base-knock. Tim Raines was next and he lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Montreal had a total of 7 hits for the game. 

Tim Burke(2-5) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Burke got help from Reardon who earned his 18th save. Ray Fontenot(5-12) was tagged with the loss.
