Dennis Martinez(11-8) had a solid outing for Baltimore. He went 8 and 1/3 innings and surrended up 7 hits and 5 walks. Cleveland had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Don Aase earned his 18th save. Vern Ruhle(4-11) ended up with the loss. He was unable to control the Baltimore offense and allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
