August 14, 1985: Blue Jays (72-44) at Rangers (53-60)

Willie Upshaw touched them all and had 2 RBI at ARLINGTON STADIUM as the Toronto Blue Jays, running on all cylinders, ripped the Texas Rangers by a large 14 to 2 margin. 

Toronto set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring one runner on 2 hits. Damaso Garcia lashed a single. Lloyd Moseby stepped up next and he doubled. Rance Mulliniks then would ground out scoring the run. Toronto dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings. 

Jimmy Key(16-8) allowed 2 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings, and picked up the victory. Burt Hooton(5-9) was given the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 5 innings.
