August 15, 1985: Braves (36-78) at Dodgers (69-47)

Mike Marshall had 3 base hits as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the pathetic Atlanta Braves 7 to 2 at DODGER STADIUM. 

Los Angeles jumped on top of Atlanta in the 6th inning plating 2 runs using 4 hits. Pedro Guerrero started the inning off right when he slapped a single. Marshall stepped into the batter's box and he laced a single. After an out was recorded, Mike Scioscia then laced a base-hit driving in two more baserunners. Atlanta was out-hit by Los Angeles, 14 hits to 6. 

The win went to Orel Hershiser(14-8) who allowed 2 runs in 8 innings. Len Barker(5-14) was the losing pitcher. He gave up 3 runs and 6 hits in 5 innings.
