August 15, 1985: Rangers (54-60) at Orioles (58-56)

Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Texas Rangers ran roughshod over the seemingly hapless Baltimore Orioles. The Texas offense rolled up a total of 12 runs!. 

Texas took the lead off Storm Davis in the first inning when they scored 2 runs on 3 hits. Texas had 17 hits for the night while Baltimore had 12. 

Dickie Noles(6-5) was the winner allowing 1 run in 7 and 1/3 innings. Davis(12-8) ended up with the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings. 

With the win Texas now has a record of 54-60. With this loss, Baltimore has a 5-5 record of late, 58-56 overall.
