August 16, 1985: White Sox (58-56) at Brewers (47-68)

Right fielder Harold Baines went yard and had 5 RBI as the Chicago White Sox beat the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 13 to 7. 

Baines had a good evening at the plate. He clubbed a two-run home run in the 3rd inning and slapped a one-base hit resulting in a run in the 5th inning. Chicago finished with 11 hits in the victory. 

Britt Burns(9-14) got the win allowing 7 runs in 5 innings. Burns got help from Dan Spillner who was credited with his 2nd save. Ray Burris(9-14) was the loser. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 6 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings. 

The Chicago ballclub's record now stands at 58-56. With the loss, the Milwaukee ballclub's record is 47-68.
