August 21, 1985: Royals (67-52) at White Sox (60-58)

Catcher Carlton Fisk cracked 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Chicago White Sox really laid it on the Kansas City Royals 12 to 1. 

Fisk enjoyed a great evening at the plate. He smashed a two-run homer in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd inning and lofted a three-run homer in the 6th inning. For the game Chicago out-hit Kansas City 17 to 5. 

The winning pitcher was Britt Burns(10-14) who allowed 1 run in 8 and 1/3 innings. Bud Black(14-7) was tagged with the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 8 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings. 

With this win, Chicago has a 60-58 record. They have been 6-4 lately. Kansas City has a record of 67-52 after the loss.
