August 27, 1985: Tigers (74-52) at Mariners (64-63)

Mike Moore completed the game without help from the bullpen and Gorman Thomas jacked one out of the ballyard and had 4 RBI as the Seattle Mariners defeated the Detroit Tigers by a score of 11 to 2 at The Kingdome.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Thomas. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 1st inning and doubled which was good for two runs in the 6th inning. Seattle finished with 16 hits in the victory.

Moore(19-8) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Juan Berenguer(4-2) was the loser. He gave up 6 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings of work.
