August 31, 1985: Indians (48-85) at Brewers (57-72)

At COUNTY STADIUM the Milwaukee Brewers easily handled the floundering Cleveland Indians by the score of 7 to 3. 

Milwaukee jumped on top of Cleveland in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring 3 runners on 3 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Randy Ready who thrilled the crowd when he ripped a one-base hit which was good for two runs. Milwaukee had 12 hits for the game and Cleveland had 6. 

Pete Vuckovich(3-4) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. Don Schulze(7-15) absorbed the loss. He gave up 6 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings of work.
