September 1, 1985: Astros (62-67) at Cardinals (79-51)

In a dramatic ending the Houston Astros staged a comeback and held on to win over the St. Louis Cardinals by the count of 11 to 7. 

Houston scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning when they came up with 5 runs on 5 hits. The big moment was provided by Mark Bailey who quieted the home crowd when he slapped a one-base hit scoring two baserunners. Houston had 17 hits for the game and St. Louis had 12. 

The victory was credited to Frank Dipino(4-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs. Jeff Lahti(2-2) was given the loss in relief.
