September 2, 1985: Expos (62-69) at Dodgers (79-53)

Andre Dawson had 2 base hits and David Palmer pitched a complete game as the Montreal Expos bested the Los Angeles Dodgers 9 to 2 at DODGER STADIUM. 

Montreal brought 8 runs across the plate in the top of the 5th inning with the help of 7 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Palmer who silenced DODGER STADIUM as he doubled clearing all three ducks off the pond. Montreal finished with 11 hits in the victory. 

Palmer(6-13) allowed 2 runs on the game. Jerry Reuss(13-9) suffered the loss. He was unable to control the Montreal offense and allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
