September 20, 1985: Yankees (82-65) at Orioles (73-74)

Eddie Murray blasted a homerun and had 5 RBI as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the New York Yankees by a score of 8 to 5 at MEMORIAL STADIUM. 

Murray helped send the fans home happy. He laced a one-base hit bringing home two baserunners in the 3rd inning and smacked a three-run homer in the 6th inning. Baltimore and New York each finished the night with 11 hits. 

Ken Dixon(6-13) got the win allowing 4 runs in 6 innings. Don Aase recorded the save, his 23rd. Ed Whitson(6-17) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 11 hits and 7 walks in 6 innings.
