September 21, 1985: Twins (65-84) at Royals (80-67)

Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Kansas City Royals ran roughshod over the seemingly hapless Minnesota Twins. The Kansas City offense rolled up a total of 12 runs!. 

Frank White made sure the Kansas City fans enjoyed themselves. He doubled plating two runs in the 1st inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 5th inning. Kansas City had 11 hits overall, while Minnesota had 8. Bret Saberhagen(17-8) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. 

Bert Blyleven(18-12) was tagged with the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 6 runs in 5 innings.
