September 22, 1985: Cubs (76-74) at Phillies (65-84)

Ron Cey had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Chicago Cubs bested the Philadelphia Phillies 11 to 5 at Shibe Park. 

Cey had a good day at the plate. He laced a one-base hit which was good for two runs in the 1st inning, delivered a base-hit in the 3rd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 4th inning and stroked a base-hit in the 6th inning. Philadelphia was out-hit by Chicago, 16 hits to 11. 

Steve Trout(12-16) got the win allowing 3 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. Kevin Gross(5-16) was the loser. Chicago knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 6 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
