September 23, 1985: Expos (73-77) at Cubs (76-75)

Shortstop Hubie Brooks smacked 2 triples and had 2 RBI at WRIGLEY FIELD as the Montreal Expos beat the Chicago Cubs 7 to 3. 

Montreal came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 8th inning with 2 runs. Vance Law led off and he drew a walk. Andre Dawson was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Brooks then tripled resulting in a run. Tim Wallach followed and he hit a deep fly scoring the final run of the inning. Montreal had 8 hits for the afternoon. 

Joe Hesketh(15-8) got the win allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. George Frazier(0-4) suffered the loss in relief. He surrendered 2 hits and 3 walks in 1 and 2/3 innings.
