October 1, 1985: White Sox (79-78) at Twins (69-89)

Mark Salas went deep and had 3 RBI as the Minnesota Twins staged a dramatic comeback over the Chicago White Sox by a score of 6 to 5 at METRODOME. 

Minnesota had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning plating 2 runs. After an out was recorded, Ron Washington kicked off the action when he reached on an error. After another out, Salas came up and he popped a two-run clout over the fence giving Minnesota the victory and sending the 15,016 home-town fans home happy. Minnesota rapped out 10 hits for the night. 

The win was credited to Pete Filson(6-7) who went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run. Bob James(4-5) was the losing pitcher in relief. 

Filson and Salas were really whooping it up in the clubhouse after the great come from behind victory.
