September 30, 1985: Padres (81-75) at Dodgers (92-65)

Third baseman Graig Nettles went yard and had 3 RBI as the San Diego Padres defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers by the score of 12 to 5 at DODGER STADIUM.

San Diego promptly took the lead in their half of the first as they creamed Los Angeles blasting them with 7 runs on 6 hits. That early scoring was all that Eric Show(17-14) needed. San Diego out-hit Los Angeles for the game, 15 hits to 7.

Jerry Reuss(13-14) ended up with the loss. He gave up 5 hits and 1 walk without retiring a batter.
