October 4, 1985: Braves (48-112) at Giants (73-87)

Left fielder Jeff Leonard had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Mike Krukow had a complete game as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Atlanta Braves by the score of 5 to 1 at CANDLESTICK PARK. 

San Francisco brought 2 runs across the plate in the 4th inning when they came up with 4 base hits. After an out was recorded, Krukow jump-started the rally as he lined a one-base hit. After another out, Manny Trillo came to the plate and ripped a base-knock. Chili Davis then lined a single bringing in a run. Leonard stepped in and he slapped a base-hit scoring the final run of the inning. San Francisco banged out 15 hits on the night. 

The win was credited to Krukow(10-17) who went the whole way allowing 1 run. Len Barker(5-18) suffered the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
