Center fielder Lloyd Moseby rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Toronto Blue Jays outscored the New York Yankees 7 to 1. 

Moseby made sure the Toronto fans enjoyed themselves. He banged out a single in the 1st inning, clubbed a solo home run in the 5th inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 6th inning. Both teams totaled 10 hits on the night. 

The win went to Doyle Alexander(21-10) who allowed 1 run in 7 and 2/3 innings. Joe Cowley(12-12) was charged with the loss. He gave up 5 runs and 7 hits in 5 innings.
