October 4, 1985: Brewers (74-86) at Red Sox (91-69)

At FENWAY PARK the Milwaukee Brewers were battered 7 to 1 by the Boston Red Sox.

Boston promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they tallied 2 runs on 4 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Boston finished with 10 hits while Milwaukee ended up with 7.

Roger Clemens(18-11) went 8 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Moose Haas(12-16) was the loser. He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
